As part of our settlement with the IRS to prove we’re not robots (due to unfortunate phrasing on a resume), we’re required to show that we can be flawed like humans. We mean…like other humans…a group to which we belong. This serves that need and is also advice! For humans!

I’m taking violin lessons, but it’s hard! I’m having trouble sticking with it, what should I do?

Dear Discouraged,
Being bad at the violin is part of the learning process,
Because violin is really effin’ hard to play
We should know, we’ve tried it time and again. It seems it just keeps getting harder
Listen to Elliott jam, and how much better it’ll make your day
With diligence on the brain, keep working at your lessons,
And pretty soon you’ll be better than the rest
But in the meantime if you get down, you’re gonna’ need a self-esteem boost
